❥ THE MEDICINE CAT looked around the camp, green gaze observing each and everyone of her clanmates. Bansheescreams often passed her time doing this - although it wasn't the most fun thing in the world, she found it interesting. She got to see potential friends. Not that she needed any more friends, anyway. She was one of the most popular people in the clan!
The girl wore a prim and proper smile on her face as she directed her gaze towards the ground, where her pet mouse Prada lay. "Oh, Prada.. you're so pretty!" she cooed to the rodent. Prada squeaked in response. At that, Banshee giggled softly.

"Since when has prey been pretty?" Infinitestar said as he walked over, looking at the medicine cat. "Is it your friend?" he then asked curiously.

❥ BANSHEE GASPED IN disgust as Infinitestar questioned Prada's good looks. "Don't listen to him, Pradaaa~. And yes, she's my pet mouse. So if I find my precious little girl on the freshkill pile, I'll slit all of your throats." the medicine cat said, her tone surprisingly cheery for what she just said. A wide smile graced her maw afterwards.

"Really? Banshee, I was only joking. I wouldn't kill her even if I wanted to. She'll be safe here." He looked at the medicine cat. "She can probably help you around the medicine den, carrying stuff and all that."

❥ SHE SMILED SMUGLY and Prada squeaked in what seemed like approval. "Good. That's settled, then." she said, her voice laced with childish laughter. The medicine cat gave a girly giggle and went back to petting Prada. She murmured compliments to the white mouse, sniggering afterwards.

"Yeah, I guess so," he grinned."How are you, anyway, Banshee? Everything all right in the medicine den? How's Liliumpaw doing in her training?" He was always curious to see as to how his daughter was. He loved her, after all, as she was his baby girl.

At his inquiries, her smile dulled down. "...how's everything going? Uh.. well. It's doing fine, I suppose. I'm not too sure on how Liliumpaw is doing - I mean, with the move and everything, we haven't had the chance to have a proper chat. I'll make sure that she gets trained soon, though." she said. The ginger female blinked green eyes at the leader, hoping that he believed her.

A heavy guilt set in on Bansheescream all of a sudden. She could've saved Sunsetstar. She could've kept her from dying. But, no. She had failed. "I'm sorry, Sunsetstar.. I should've been there."
